Photo from the archive was taken last evening at the weir in Ballincollig Regional Park, Co.Cork (Irl)

A bulldog makes a dramatic entry into the river Lee with a mighty splash as it chased after a tennis ball! The sun was setting and the low light coming down the river, dramatically lit up all the droplets from the splash.

A Prayer Of Thanks…….

Every now and then, I stop and think of you God. Maybe it’s because I feel guilty for not making enough contact but I want you to know that I really haven’t forgotten you. There are times when life is going well and I really want to praise and thank you for those times.

Even when things are not going well, I pray for a plan and I know you are always prepared to listen to me. You know my needs, my joys, my pain and my struggles. You understand exactly what is going on for me. All others struggle to fully understand but not you. So I thank you God for being my guiding light that will never burn out. Although I may not always show it, I am grateful, grateful for all you have given to me, my family, my friends, my blessings, everything. Sometimes I simply forget how lucky I am and how grateful I should be. I just get carried away with life and forget. But not today and all I want to say is thank you, for everything.
