Wulsin was a monk who had a big influence in monastic life. He was a bishop in London during which time he acquired land and restored the abbey of Westminister.
He was energetic in spreading the ideals of monastic life and monastic renewal far and wide. He also wanted his ideas to extend not just to religious but to lay people as well. He died in the year 1005. He is not one of the better known saints but in a world that is built on noise and living in the fast lane, his thoughts on quiet and reflective time are apt and appropriate.

Today we ask his many blessings on us. Amen
