‘There are thousands of interpretations of any human act. There are thousands of people willing and keen to make our decisions for us. But in the jungle of contradictory advice, sanity lies in daring to trust your own gut, perceptions and thinking.’ ~Joe Armstrong

It is sometimes tempting to follow what someone else does. It’s good to be inspired by someone but not good if we try and copycat them. We are sure to be disappointed. We need to trust ourselves more, to trust our inner voice and to stand up for who we are. St Thomas Aquinas said you must always follow your conscience even if that involves disobeying the pope! Our inner voice is God’s gentle voice to each of us. In our noisy world though it can get so easy get drowned out. But it’s our best friend and won’t let us down.
