‘Pride comes before a fall’ ~Book of Proverbs 16:18

A frog planned how to get away from the cold winter climate. “I’ve got a splendid brain. I know what I’ll do,” he said to himself. Then he approached two geese that soon would start on their migrating journey to a warmer country. “I would like to migrate with you,” he said.
“But you can’t fly,” said the geese. “I know” said the frog “but I have a plan”. “You pick up a strong reed, each holding one end and I’ll hold on to it with my mouth.” The geese agreed and started their journey. Soon they were passing over a small town and someone cried out, “Look, Look. Who could have thought of such a clever idea?” Hearing this, the frog was so full with a sense of pride and importance that he croaked out loud, “I planned it.” The frog lost its hold on the reed and the rest is history. Is there a bit of the frog in me at times?
