I took this photo yesterday on the Drishane Road, at Millstreet, Co.Cork. The rainbow really stood out. I have called it an Easter Rainbow and is also symbolic of Pope Francis who has left a legacy of beautiful colours. He had a beautiful smile and energy that touched so many people. Whether you were lucky to be up close to him or watching from a distance, there was something about him that was genuine, moving and with  depth. It was touching to watch yesterday all the beautiful tributes from so many people. He has left a beautiful spiritual footprint in our world and his legacy, love and energy will remain with us. His life of simplicity and living the message of Jesus in such a beautiful way, will remain an inspiration for so many people.

Spiritual Thought For The Week

As the world mourns the loss of Pope Francis, we know we have lost a truly special person❤️. Pope Francis was some man for one man! He was a true shepherd of the people. He was such a good pope, down to earth with a beautiful, practical and simple faith. He had a practical outlook on everything and had no time for pomp and those who tried to complicate the beautiful message of Jesus.
Like a compass he has guided the church through some very difficult and turbulent times. He will be remembered as a reforming pope and one who brought many good changes to the Catholic Church. He also had such a beautiful smile and one that reflected the beautiful person within. May his gentle soul rest in peace❤️🙏
