It is hard to find colour in your garden during the month of November but this is the beautiful Mahonia, which is in full flower now. I took this at home in our garden in Millstreet, Co.Cork

Mindful Quotation😇:  “One who is patient glows with an inner radiance.” ~ Allan Lokos

Mindful Prayer🙏: Loving God,  in the world we live in today it is hard to be patient. The pace of life is so fast and there are lots of impatient people out there. Help me to be patient with others but especially to be patient with myself. Amen

Thought For The Week

During these days of November so many people remember their loved ones who have died.
It is a beautiful tradition. It is done in lots of meaningful ways and it is always done gently, slowly and is always done in our own special and unique way.
Here is a prayer that we have used in Carrigaline and Tracton parishes as part of our Novena to the Holy Souls.
May our departed loved ones, O Lord go on living in our hearts and memories.
May they on living in the quiet courage of our actions and the gentle strength of our convictions.
May they go on living in the bonds of family and friendship and affection that they forged among us and the love they have left us an eternal legacy.
May their names be ever honoured and their lives be ever celebrated.
May they go on living in us, in all that we are and in all that we do.
Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, May they rest in peace. Amen
