Today is also the feast day of St.Bonaventure.

Bonaventure (1221-1274)
He joined the Franciscans in 1243. He supported Franciscan houses in university towns, at which friars would be equipped to become preachers and spiritual directors. He wrote a life of St.Francis known as ‘Legenda Maior’. He is best remembered as a theologian and he is often referred to as the second founder of the Franciscan Order.
