A honeybee has a big load on either side of its back legs. The pollen baskets which can be clearly seen full of pollen is a high protein food that is fed to young bees. Pollen coming into beehives at this time of year is a vital lifesource. It ensures that the colony can begin to build in numbers with the arrival of spring during the coming weeks.

A short Lenten prayer.....

May there be peace within you today. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you embrace endless possibilities that will always come your way. May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

May you feel unburdened, free and energised by a sense of God in your life. May you know that it's ok not to have it all worked out and that God will also help you work it out too!

May you treasure this day as a precious gift and be open to some surprise along the way. May you finish today with a sense of gratitude, knowing you have done your best and that no more is asked of you. Amen

We continued our Lenten Lunchtime 'Stepping Stones' - talk/prayer/reflection last Wednesday at 1.30pm Our guest speaker was the Cork footballer Ruairi Deane. Ruairi talked about how light and positive thinking may benefit us in our current lives. He hopes that you will benefit from his experience and from what he has learned and found helpful during these challenging times. You can watch it now on https://youtu.be/J3uDS0JE0fI
