I took this photo along the Carrigaline/Crosshaven Greenway during the week and this tree was particularly eye catching in some lovely sunshine

Significance Of Today

Today is the last day of Universal Human Beings Week. It is our collective power to create, innovate, and inspire. It is these and more that make us unique. With empathy and compassion, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. Sometimes we need gentle encouragement to believe in all we can achieve.

Video for the Week🎥🎥

The latest video is called ‘Prayer to the Holy Spirit’ to coincide with all those making confirmation in so many of our parishes at this time.

Thought For The Week

Confirmations are up and running in many of our parishes at the moment. The following prayer to the Holy Spirit has been put together for those making their Confirmation but it can also be said by anyone.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

I pray to the Holy Spirit, to be with me each day but especially today.

Thank you for being with me on my special journey through life.

Thank you for the happy moments, the good days and helping me to make the most of my gifts and talents and all that I am good at.

I know sometimes it is not easy. Help me to be brave when life gets tough. Give me courage, hope and strength to know that I will get through whatever is difficult.

Thank you for guiding and directing me. Help me discover more about the journey of life in small steps and one day at a time.

And finally help me to remember that nothing is going to happen today that you and I can’t handle together.

Amen
