Well it wasn’t a white Christmas in Ireland for 2007 but no doubt there was plenty of snow in many other parts of the world! Snow always adds something magical and more so at Christmas time.

‘Let those who never loved before love now. Let those who always loved, love a little more.’ Author Unknown

Hopefully your Christmas went well for you. Perhaps today St.Stephen’s Day, there is a sense of relief that it’s all over and looking forward now to the New Year. Even though Christmas stretches to twelve days we will now be replacing ‘Happy Christmas’ with ‘Happy New Year!’ But one thing about Christmas is that its real message should never be lost. The invitation is to carry it with us every single day. The real message of Christmas evolves around love. It is the energy that brings meaning and life to all we do. We can begin to find God’s love again in our lives and to share it with others no matter how small. These days are indeed sacred and special. It is up to us to make the most of them in whatever way we can.

(P.S As we journey through Christmas its time to relax and take it easy. Our thoughts and pictures from here to Jan 2nd will be taken from my book ‘A Year In reflection’ which is a collection of the best of 365 thoughts and photographs from this website. From Jan 2nd everything will be back to new photos and thoughts. Thanks….James
