Christmas transforms many houses and even more so in the countryside.
This photo was taken when the moon rose just over the house. It was taken without using a flash enabling the camera to capture all the warm lights outside and within.

‘There’s none so blind as those who will not see.’ ~ Old Proverb

Some people have been credited with a quick eye and who miss absolutely nothing. However, in matters of general observation we do tend to leave out a lot. We think all greens are green until we take a walk out into the countryside. A simple Christmas candle in a Church or home can speak volumes about hope, light and life. With the build up to Christmas we may have been so busy and hectic that we could have our eyes closed to what’s really important. What’s really important can often happen in a moment and may never repeat itself again. This week after Christmas is a week to really unwind, relax and take it easy. We ask God to help us make the most of what’s precious and special in the closing days of this year.

(P.S As we journey through Christmas its time to relax and take it easy. Our thoughts and pictures from here to Jan 2nd will be taken from my book ‘A Year In reflection’ which is a collection of the best of 365 thoughts and photographs from this website. From Jan 2nd everything will be back to new photos and thoughts. Thanks….James
