A blackbird takes a firm hold of a helpless worm. These birds are great providers. They can often be seen quietly hopping around grass patches but always with great purpose. They wait patiently for the worm to move underneath and then they pounce.

‘It’s not what happens to you that determines how far you will go in life, it is how you handle what happens to you.’ ~Ziglar

Ronaldo scored a magnificent goal in the Champions league last night for Man Utd against Roma. His bravery in trying to score the goal meant he picked up an injury and there were no celebrations. But it was his bravery that made the crucial breakthrough. He handled the situation superbly.
Sometimes things happen to us outside our control. That is the way life is. How we handle these situations is always crucially important. It is easy to handle things when they are in our favour. But most days there is the unexpected and the unknown. It is during these times that we need to be brave, courageous and strong. We sometimes need to dig deep and call on deeper reserves. When we rely and put our trust in a loving God we put ourselves in a much better position to handle most things that life may throw at us.
