Photo was taken in a wood near Laragh, Co.Wicklow (Irl)

Photography can often bring you privileged moments. It’s a rare moment to come so close to a deer in wildlife. They normally run away with the slightest sound. Suddenly I found myself in front of this deer. She stopped in her tracks and I most certainly stopped in mine.
I marvelled at her beauty. But surely getting a photo was beyond any possibility given how close we were. I gently raised the camera. Click, click, click. It was enough to give her the signal to leap on.
But I was the happiest of them all. To be able to get so close to this deer was indeed a dream come through. To be able to share it with you is my privilge.

‘Last night, as I lay sleeping, I dreamt that I had a beehive here inside my heart. And the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from my old failures.’ ~Antonio Machado

We dream five times during any night. Dreams are the one common language of our world. They unite humanity. They keep us balanced and help us function well and normal as a human being. But we so often undervalue our dreams. Throughout scripture there are many dreams where God passes on important information. All our dreams are our friends, are always on our side and never our enemy. Even nightmares are on our side and are simply trying to wake us up to something in our everyday lives. A dream will always deliver a gift to you. We need to get in touch with our dreams more or even write them down. It’s only you can say with certainty what meaning your dream may hold. Why not share your dreams with people you care about? Ask them about their dreams.
