These young pea seedlings are thriving in a polythene tunnel. They will shortly be planted outdoors once the weather settles down and temperatures rise. But in the meantime they will continue to make progress in conditions that can best be described as tender loving care.

‘God doesn’t owe us anything but we owe God everything.’ ~Colleen Rainone.

We sometimes say ‚ÄúI owe you one‚Äù, when someone does us a big favour. We appreciate what they’ve done for us and we want to give something back. We sometimes mistakenly think that if we do everything right, then God owes us a favour. God really doesn’t owe us anything because whatever we do we are loved truly and uniquely by God. It is we who owe God so much, particularly for blessings received. There are times when our shortest prayer to God is, ‚ÄúI owe you one.‚Äù Hopefully as we journey through this weekend we might feel the urge to say the prayer when the moment is right.
